GDM Travel Grant Awarded for CANVAS Conference
Congratulations to ISU PhD student Victoria Moser on being selected for a $1,000 GDM Travel Grant to attend and present at CANVAS 2025 (formerly the Tri-Society Meeting), November 9-12, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Moser is studying crop production and physiology with agronomy professors Fernando Miguez and Danny Singh. Her presentation is titled “Evaluating UAV and Satellite Imagery to Connect LAI with Yield in Soybean.”
The funds provided by ISRC industry partner GDM are used to reimburse student travel expenses while also recognizing outstanding student research contributions and allowing deserving students to showcase their work on a larger platform. In May, GDM sponsored a graduate student who presented at the National Association of Plant Breeders Conference, which was featured in the ISRC’s April newsletter. Thank you GDM for supporting the talent and hard work of ISU graduate students!
