GDM Travel Grant Program for ISU Graduate Students
GDM is implementing a new travel grant program for ISU graduate students to be administered by the Iowa Soybean Research Center (ISRC) at Iowa State University. The funds provided by GDM will be used to cover students' travel expenses while also recognizing outstanding student research contributions and allows deserving students to showcase their work on a larger platform.
GDM will award four, $1,000 travel awards for students who plan to attend and present their research at one of the following two conferences in 2024. Two awards will be offered for each conference.
- National Association of Plant Breeders in St. Louis on July 21-25 (applications due 5/17/24)
- Crop Science Society of America Annual Meeting in San Antonio on November 10-13 (applications due 7/10/24)
Please submit your application, with abstract, by Friday, May 17th at 5pm CST for the Plant Breeders Conference. Crop Science Society applications are due by Wednesday, July 10th at 5pm CST.
